Vladimir Putin Announces Kim Jong-un's Upcoming Visit to Vladivostok and Inspection of Defence Factories

 


Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed on Wednesday that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will extend his tour of Russia's far east with visits to Vladivostok and to defense and other factories in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, as reported by RIA news agency.
Putin, who previously engaged in discussions with Kim at the Vostochny Cosmodrome and hosted a luncheon for the North Korean leader, highlighted the potential for bilateral military-technical cooperation while emphasizing Russia's commitment to international obligations.
During the announcement, Putin mentioned that Russia intends to showcase the capabilities of its Pacific Fleet to Kim during his visit to Vladivostok. Additionally, he indicated Russia's willingness to collaborate with North Korea in the field of agriculture.
